Linz Day 7

Today I slept in while Michael got up to go to a masterclass.  I met him at the Brucknerhaus so we could go get some lunch somewhere.  We had passed this Schnitzel house several times and so we decided to check it out.

We both got Weiner Schnitzel!

The food was pretty good I must say.  We think the place is owned by an old husband and wife couple.  They were the only ones we saw there and they served us and everyone else the whole time.  The old man was the one that gave us our bill and exchanged money with us.  We don't know if he was trying to rip us off or if he was just bad at math.  I like to think he was just bad at math.  He short changed us by almost 10 Euro.  We sat there counting, trying to figure it out and after a few minutes the old man came back to see what was wrong.  Michael tried to communicate with him (he spoke zero English) but he was very confused. So Michael borrowed his pen and paper and did the arithmetic for him to show him how much change we were due.  So then he fixed it.

The Schnitzel House!
We headed back to the Brucknerhaus for a concert and afterwards all the University of Michigan people wanted to take a photo together.  I was hired as the photographer.
This is everyone that ever went to the Univ of Michigan and had Fritz Kaenzig as their Tuba Professor.

Here is Michael and his quartet
After this it was time for dinner so we headed back once again to our favorite restaurant- Riva.  It's SO good!  Every dish we've tried has been incredible!
My lovely view :)
After we finished our awesome dinner Michael ordered one of their famous - and HUGE - desserts.  He's been saying all week that he's going to order one.

Michael is so happy :)

All gone!

Our favorite restaurant with our favorite view!  Can't get any better!  We are going to miss this the most.  We love this place.
